Our lemon eucalyptus essential oil (Eucalyptus citriodora) is obtained by gentle steam distillation of the fresh leaves. Its characteristic lemony, fresh aroma is valued in aromatherapy as refreshing and clarifying. Lemon eucalyptus oil can be used both aromatically and in natural cosmetics – for example in aromatherapy, in skincare or as a natural freshness kick.
Its characteristic constituents include citronellal, citronellol and isocitronellal, which give the oil its typical fragrance character.
