DIY Scented Soap – Natural Calm for Your Home

🧼 Instructions: DIY Natural Scented Soap (easy & natural)

Homemade soap with essential oils is a wonderful way to combine natural care with creative design. High-quality, pure essential oils give each soap its own character—whether fresh, soothing, spicy, or floral. At the same time, you know exactly what's inside: no synthetic fragrances, no unnecessary additives, just a product you can confidently give as a gift or use yourself.

DIY soap also makes a great personal gift—for birthdays, as a small token of appreciation, for a housewarming, or simply to bring joy to someone. Homemade soaps appear thoughtful, individual, and show that you've taken the time. With a few simple ingredients and a scent oil of your choice, you can create something valuable that is durable, useful, and beautiful all at once.

Ingredients

  • 1 block of natural pure glycerin melt & pour soap base (or shea butter melt & pour soap base)
  • 10–15 drops of pure natural oil
  • 1 tsp dried plants or herbs (optional, for decoration)
  • Soap mold (silicone mold)
  • Small bowl + spoon
  • Microwave-safe bowl or pot

Here’s how – Step by step

1. Melt the soap base

Cut the soap base into small pieces and melt it carefully:

  • Microwave: Heat for 15–20 seconds, stir, repeat
  • Bain-marie: Melt slowly, do not boil

The slower, the nicer the texture will be.

2. Stir in essential oil

Once the soap is completely liquid, stir in 10–15 drops of natural oil of your choice.
This provides a soothing, natural scent—do not overdo it.

3. Add extras (optional)

For a pretty look, you can add some:

  • dried plants/herbs
  • a touch of clay for a light color
  • small soap flakes for texture

Stir gently.

4. Pour into the mold

Pour the liquid soap mass into the silicone mold.
Tip: If flowers/herbs float to the top, gently push them down with a toothpick.

5. Let it harden

Allow it to fully solidify for at least 2–3 hours.
Then carefully press it out of the mold.

6. Done!

Your DIY scented soap is ready to use or give as a gift.
It smells soothing, gently nourishes the skin, and brings a touch of calm to everyday life. 🤍
