Our essential cajeput oil (Melaleuca leucadendra, syn. Melaleuca cajuputi) belongs, like eucalyptus and tea tree, to the myrtle family. Its fresh, clear, spicy-camphoraceous scent is reminiscent of eucalyptus, yet softer and warmer – a fragrance note traditionally valued in aromatherapy.
